About Federica Carpanzano

In a nutshell After 11 passionate years spent in advertising, in April 2022 I decided to take a break to travel, manage my time and feed my mind and soul. Meanwhile I wanted to gain experience in my family business (Exclusive Events Location), where I collaborated on communication activities (social and offline). I currently work in Plenitude as Brand and Communication Expert. In detail During my career in advertising agencies and tech company, I have gained experience in managing projects for international brands and in global coordination. I have learned companies’ internal dynamics and processes in Marketing, Advertising & Communication departments. International projects and companies are very stimulating to me because they have always give me the opportunity to live and feel a multicultural environment, to have a cultural exchange. This enriches you on a personal and on a work level. My main areas of expertises: FMCG (i.e.Barilla, Campari, Aperol),Personal care/Beauty and utilities (eni gas & power and Vodafone). On top, since I have a strong interest for fashion and lifestyle sector, I am open to it. As CSM in Tik Tok I had the opportunity to learn media dynamics, technicalities and how to coordinate media and creativity. This expanded my advertising background. As Senior Account in advertising agencies, I was the Project Manager and team leader. Being a leader means inspire, support, understand others, getting the best out of each person to reach a common goal. In this sense, I strongly believe in soft skills development, beyond the technical ones, to be a valuable professional. I was born in 1987 in Catanzaro. I have been living in Milan for 19 years, beside a temporary work experience in New York where I started my career. Personally and professionally I am the perfect mix between the North and South of Italy. I am rigorous but passionate in everything I do. I am fluent in English and I have a basic level of spanish. I wish to learn portughese and refresh my french. What I love most In advertising? The mix of rigor, analysis, strategy and the irrationality of creative thinking. Working with people coming from different background compared to mine (I studied economics at Bocconi University) is very stimulating for me. My 3 mantras: 1. “To feel deeply free, you must know your own roots” (Adv Barilla 2009 - Y&R) 2. Virtue is in the middle. You can only fligh high if you know where to go.
