About Federich Romby

ALL VIEWS ARE MY OWN - I am a lawyer with 15 years' international working experience in several legal areas across various countries. I obtained my Juris Doctor Degree in Italy (Cagliari) in 2009 and then qualified as a lawyer after training at local level. Since 2010, I furthered my legal skills across Europe. I obtained postgraduate law degrees in Spain (Avila) and in the United Kingdom (London School of Economics), where I pursued an LL.M. degree in EU law. Then, once qualified as an Italian/EU attorney I went on to work in different legal positions in Brussels, London, Paris and Milan (and then back to Brussels), experiencing various roles in the corporate world, from international law firms to leading corporate organizations and finally EU Institutions. Since April 2018 I work as a lawyer at DG Competition of the European Commission, where I focus on EU competition (antitrust) law. I have been also involved in academic and social activities. I lectured in the course of Law and Technology at the University of Brussels (VUB); organized events at international and local level to promote students' mobility (University of Cagliari, Italy), EU values (European Commission, Brussels - back to University program) and the development of my homeland, Sardinia (Ripopoliamo - Cagliari, Italy, 2023-2024). Other than that, and to some extent most notably :D, I enjoy making videos for my Youtube channel, where I discuss a variety of topics, from my journey as a lawyer to personal growth and financial independence; I sing and play in a rock band, and well.to know more, feel free to get in touch!
