About Federico Cerrai

Born in Pontedera on January 17, 1992, Federico Cerrai pursued his studies in Pisa, earning a degree in Structural Civil Engineering in May 2020. His career began in the Energy and Piping sector as a consultant for Ram Oil & Gas, followed by a period teaching mathematics and physics at Liceo Francesco Cecioni in Livorno. In February 2021, he collaborated with PROGER S.p.A. as an Infrastructure Inspector. From June 2021 to November 2022, he worked at RINA consulting S.p.A, overseeing infrastructure surveillance on the A12 motorway and contributing to international projects such as the Braila Bridge in Romania and the Storstrøm Bridge in Denmark, focusing on SHM monitoring systems. In 2023, he served as a Civil Works Assistant at Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (R.F.I.), managing railway infrastructure maintenance. Since October 2023, he has been working as an Infrastructures Project Manager at RINA consulting S.p.A, where he supervises the implementation of monitoring systems, coordinates logistics and procurement, and ensures compliance with project goals. His expertise includes structural modeling, seismic vulnerability assessments, and leadership in project planning and execution.
