About Federico del Rosario

I began my career with Health Net in as a Customer Service Supervisor for the health plan's Medicare Advantage programs, gaining invaluable front-line insight into the operations of a managed care model. This role exposed me to the collaborative efforts of various business units, sparking my career-long interest in understanding the health insurance industry and its healthcare delivery. In this capacity, I successfully managed a team of 15+ representatives, all committed to delivering the highest quality of customer service and member advocacy. In 2004, I transitioned to the Appeals and Grievances unit, where I navigated complex compliance requirements for both state and federal regulations related to member grievances. Under this role, I led a team of 30, focusing on championing member advocacy and meeting critical compliance standards. The following year, I advanced into the Legal Department as a Compliance Analyst, where I was responsible for liaising with internal business units and outside counsel on regulatory matters. My key duties included preparing essential filings—such as various quarterly reports, yearly text models, rates, advertising materials, and block transfers—and providing guidance on healthcare regulations to support compliance initiatives across departments. In 2010, I was promoted to a leadership role within provider network operations, where I continue to support Health Net's provider network. My work focuses on operationalizing regulatory requirements, developing provider communications, assisting with provider web portal enhancements, maintaining third-party vendor agreements, provider contracts database maintenance, and facilitating proprietary fee shcedules. Throughout each role, I’ve remained dedicated to delivering exceptional service and fostering collaboration across teams to drive impactful results for both internal and external clients.
