About Federico Motta

I have always been interested in electronics and programming: during the first few months of work I simulated different algorithms for coupling two mechanical components, in order to determine which one was the most efficient. I then entered the field of industrial programming with the development of an HMI, modifications on Robot and PLC software; finally I programmed and tested a robotic cell that performed the defect control of the product via an artificial vision system. Later on, I moved towards the management area, eventually becoming a Project Engineer. I am currently involved in feasibility studies to meet customer needs: knowing what the customer requires, researching and proposing the right technology, prototype concept development, design, budget management, and project validation testing are essential aspects of my position. Over the last few years, I have followed several projects for the development of special machines and have monitored and forecasted the development of the projects in terms of time/cost/resources. I would like to learn a methodology that takes these variables into account. Certainly, curiosity and the desire to get involved in new technology can bring excellent results in terms of innovation, but I also think that good discipline, made of determination and self-control, are key to being able to carry out projects or ideas in the midst of everyday difficulties. The aspects I would like to delve into are: my knowledge in the energy field in order to be able to make important decisions in terms of environmental impact; at the same time I would like to further develop my teamwork, communication and negotiation skills.
