About Federico Pignata

As a Jefe de Obra at Enkel Group, I am leading a pioneering project of building a two-story house in CLT (Mass Timber), a non-traditional construction method that is gaining popularity in Europe and the US. CLT is a sustainable and resilient material that consists of solid wood sawn and glued together in a cross-laminated pattern. I am responsible for planning, executing, and supervising the project, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency standards. I have more than seven years of experience in managing large-scale projects, both in Uruguay and abroad. I worked with Teyma for three years, where I oversaw the rehabilitation of 175 km of railway tracks for the MTOP and AFE, as well as the train maneuvering yard at the UPM Montevideo Port. I have developed strong teamwork and leadership skills, working with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. I also hold a Master's degree in Project Management from La Salle BCN, where I learned new tools and techniques for organizing and delivering successful projects, with a focus on innovation and environmental awareness.
