About Federico Stubbe

Federico Stubbe Jr. is the CEO of PRISA Group, a family-owned development, construction and investment firm with residential, hospitality, and entertainment projects in Puerto Rico and Florida, and over employees. PRISA is best known for the $2 billion, Dorado Beach Resort, a world-renowned master planned community located 30 minutes from San Juan. Over the past decade, PRISA has completed $1.5 billion in tourism developments, including over 1,500 hotel rooms. In Puerto Rico, PRISA developed the $340 million Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve and over $400 million in branded residences. The success of PRISA’s four Hyatt hotels earned it the 2014 Hyatt Americas’ Developer of the Year award. PRISA has also expanded into Florida with four Marriott hotels in Orlando and Tampa. Most recently, the firm completed the Fairfield by Marriott & Casino in Luquillo Beach, Puerto Rico, its third gaming development. PRISA also developed and owns Distrito T-Mobile, a $250 million entertainment district featuring the Aloft San Juan hotel, a music hall, VIP cinemas, zip lines, restaurants, retail, and offices. The complex, which attracts over 3.5 million visitors annually, has been prominently featured on ABC’s “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” for the past three years, generating significant global exposure for Puerto Rico. PRISA also ventured into healthcare with the 2022 completion of Sabanera Health, a $125 million healthcare facility in collaboration with Johns Hopkins Medicine, later sold to Orlando Health. PRISA is currently developing an $80 million 257-key Hilton hotel in San Juan, as well as ONE DISTRITO, a $120 million mixed-use development with 150 Marriott aparthotel units and luxury residences. The firm also has six residential projects in construction in Dorado, PR, with prices ranging from to $40 million. Mr. Stubbe is the President of the Board of Trustees of TASIS Dorado, a 900-student private school founded by his parents. He is also Co-Chair of the Puerto Rico Tourism Development Council, a member of YPO and serves on the boards of Puerto Rico’s Destination Marketing Organization, the TASIS Foundation, the Business Advisory Council for the Federal Reserve Bank of NY, the Board of Advisors of Georgetown’s School of Business and the Executive Committee of Georgetown’s Steers Center for Real Estate. Mr. Stubbe holds a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University and MBA and Civil Engineering degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and its Sloan School of Management.
