About Fedora Devena

Fedora Devena is a product designer and a user experience enthusiast. She started her career early in 2013 in the field of visual communication and advertising, developing her own advertising agency from scratch, and handling multiple projects from company profile video, branding, social media, web design, etc. Her passion in design and technology brought her to a more challenging level when she was awarded by Chevening Scholarship to pursue master’s degree in Communication and Media at University of Leeds, United Kingdom. She believes that there’s always rooms for improvement and that is why her biggest motivation to learn new things is the unknown itself. Her passion in design and technology makes her fell in love with the world of experience design, how to create a data-driven and user-centric design. Later, she pursued her career as user experience (UX) Designer in an online travel agency, combining her biggest hobby (traveling) and passion (design). Her daily routine includes day-to-day collaboration with UX researchers, Product Managers, engineers, UI Designers. Moreover, her responsibility covers on making information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, also conduct research and user tests alongside researchers. Her vision lies on developing digital products that not only sell but also help users to grow, or in the other words : to humanise technology. Currently, she is based in Amsterdam. On her spare time, Fedora Devena enjoys traveling, taking pictures, doing mentoring sessions and also writing articles on medium. Furthermore, she loves volunteering on social events as an educator or as speaker on workshops.
