About Felipe Leon

I am a technical project manager with a forward-driven outlook and experience in utilizing agile methodologies to develop new technology products and understanding core integrations between various systems. I view myself as a specialized generalist, meaning that I have worn many hats, worked with multiple disciplines, and am able to apply my varied skills in information technology, collaboration, and project management to many exciting and innovative projects that deliver value. As a child of the internet, I was introduced to the power of technology very early on. Through interacting with people across the globe while playing video games and learning new technology-based skills as the internet itself grew and changed, I became more and more interested in what I could do with technology to make an impact. Within the world of IT, I want to work on highly collaborative teams, bridging the gap between various groups and creating cohesiveness throughout a project lifecycle. I love working with infrastructure and technical systems, especially Salesforce, to create prototypes, define logic, and influence architecture. As a team leader, I strive to build long-lasting and extremely competent teams where each person feels empowered to take on various tasks and adapt to new situations. I am constantly in pursuit of knowledge, building my toolset through additional trainings and certifications so I am a credible and reputable colleague, while also ensuring that my team members can achieve their goals effectively and within timelines. I also have a background in theatre, which I have been able to apply to the IT workspace. I performed in musicals throughout high school and college, with some standouts including playing Bobby in Urinetown and a production of The Last Days of Judas Iscariot. I love how it truly takes a village to put a show together, from the cast in the rehearsal process, to the director creating the vision of the production, to the technical team building the sets and making the world come to life. Taking this collaborative mindset into my professional career in IT has been extremely beneficial, allowing me to bring a multifaceted approach, clear communication, and team development to technical project management, while making sure all team members are properly trained and equipped with the right tools to complete projects within timelines and to specifications.
