I am a mining engineer with 15 years of experience in open pit mining projects and operations, as well as in Ore Reserves Audits. I have a bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. I am a Senior Professional in open pit mining projects: Scoping Study, Auditing, Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA), Pre-Feasibility (PFS) and Feasibility Study (FS). I have worked for two years in a large open pit Iron Ore mine in Brazil, responsible for short and long-term planning. As a consultant, i have attended more than forty open pit mining projects in Brazil, Chile, Peru and Colombia for different commodities such as iron ore, copper, gold, potash, nickel, diamonds and rare earth oxides ore. Over the years working at the mining industry, I have accumulated extensive technical experience in reserves estimation and assessment, mine planning and designing, production scheduling, fleet sizing, cost estimation and economic analysis for open pit mining project. I am also an advanced user of mining software such as Datamine Studio and NPV Studio, Vulcan, Minesight, Gems, Whittle, Deswik, Minemax among others.
