About Felipe Megale

I'm a professional who is thrilled by challenges and problem solving. Throughout my professional career, I learned how to talk to clients, and developed the ability to openly express myself before others. Combining both soft and hard skills, I'm constantly seeking both company and client's success. Everyday I try my best to apply all knowledge acquired in my Computer Science graduation to write good and fast software using all sorts of technologies. Some projects I have worked on are- Uber trip analysis in Lima, Peru, aiming at finding a relationship between trips and characterize the data set- Analysis of Uber trips in New York City and the spread of COVID-19, in which I studied the impact of COVID-19 in ridesharing and create regression models that could tell us what to expect for the future of ridesharing in NYC- Master’s Thesis (ongoing project), working on prediction of vehicle speed and volume and analyze the impacts of incidents and weather in traffic; evaluate performance of different algorithms; provide researchers with a tool capable of creating accurate synthetic mobility traces. My latest experience is with ReactJS for front-end development, and.Net Core (C#) to develop WebApis. I used Git to version the solution, and to build and deploy the software for the client, Azure DevOps was the tool of choice. Finally, I began building hybrid mobile apps with React Native, providing outstanding user experience for users of both iOS and Android, regarding the particularities of each environment.
