Senior executive with extensive international experience leading procurement, operations, and commercial development in the airline industry, across highly complex markets such as the United States, Brazil, and Chile. I have led strategic sourcing efforts exceeding USD 1.4 billion, implemented efficiency initiatives resulting in over USD 500 million in sustained savings, and played a key role in high-impact organizational transformation processes. From 2014 to 2016, I was responsible—alongside McKinsey & Company—for the structural transformation of the Procurement area at LATAM Airlines Group, redesigning the department and introducing methodologies such as TCO (Total Cost of Ownership). Between 2020 and 2022, I actively participated in LATAM’s Chapter 11 process, as part of the core team renegotiating long-term contracts, shifting cost structures, protecting cash flow, and securing the company’s operational continuity. I am currently leading the digital transformation of LATAM’s Procurement division, with a strong focus on automation, data analytics, and artificial intelligence to enhance decision-making. My expertise lies in driving strategic value from procurement, leading transformational projects that maximize efficiency and generate cost savings with direct impact on the company’s bottom line.
