About Felippe Koetz

With 17 years of full actuarial/insurance experience and have been worked in two different countries, I have worked with consulting firms and insurance carriers, from small to large ones. My experience ranges from pricing to reserving on life insurance and property & casualty (P&C) markets. Flexibility and adaptation were strong assets I have developed. Throughout my career, I have learned that people is the most valuable asset for the success of an organization. Bringing them together and extracting the best of them is the most exciting challenge I like to be part on. In every place I have been, I had the opportunity to add value in delivering solid results on the projects in which I was responsible for. In the recent years, as I shifted to a management position, I have the opportunity to develop a new set of skill on top of the technical ones. I have develop people skills to better manage and coach highly skilled team of professionals and to better connect with different stakeholders involved on the ongoing and future projects. In addition, solid communication skills, as I have been almost daily exposed to present and explain hard and technical projects and terms to different types of audiences, from the sales field team, IT department, up to the high management (including the CEO). I do operate with integrity and character. I do value principles and I stick to them. I enjoy to be engaged in a productive brainstorming to get the most of everyone, always respecting everyone’s opinion. I believe interaction and communication aggregates efficiency to projects, so I do strongly work to be a powerful facilitator.
