Background

About Felix Barron

In my current and past roles I have enjoyed working with producers and community members to create a profitable and an enjoyable place to learn and play, respectfully. My background in agriculture stems back from working on the family farm in New Mexico. I have a degree in agronomy with an option in business from New Mexico State university and worked with county extension programs while in college on various research projects from state noxious weed program to vegetable production. In all my career paths I have actively been involved with the community to create nourishing and well being partnerships. I have helped growers grow their businesses and communities expand their resources and create long term policies and procedures to help them in the future. I have been the supervisor of programs that involved taking care of my own budget, capital projects, purchasing, and various other tasks appointed to me. I have multiple years’ experience in agriculture, research and facilities management.
