Leveraging over 9 years of hands-on experience in effectively managing whole genome and transcriptome sequencing data, I am a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of the intricacies involved in clinical-grade NGS data interpretation and analysis to deliver insightful and impactful results in the field of genomics. My research centres on the genomics of pancreatic and biliary tract cancers. I employ advanced bioinformatics techniques and evolutionary theories to unravel the mechanisms of cancer initiation, progression, and metastasis. Additionally, I am deeply invested in the translational aspect of this knowledge—examining how it can be effectively applied in clinical settings to benefit cancer patients. My work includes studying the role of molecular tumour boards in guiding treatment decisions and investigating how these decisions are communicated to and understood by patients.
