I am an Audit Associate at PwC Kenya, specializing in external audits across diverse private sectors, including healthcare, reinsurance, banking, microfinance, insurance, shipping and logistics, FMCG, pharmaceuticals, and emerging markets investment advising. My role involves ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and delivering actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. Beyond audits, I am deeply engaged in fostering a vibrant work culture as a member of PwC Kenya's Social Committee, where I organize events to enhance team spirit and employee engagement. I also serve on the Next Gen Council, championing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and sustainability initiatives, with a focus on integrating ESG practices into the firm and accounting standards such as IFRS S1 and S2, GRI, and TCFD frameworks. Academically, I hold a Second Class Upper Division degree in Commerce (Accounting) from the University of Nairobi. I have completed my CPA examinations and I'm currently pursuing the intermediate level of the CIFA designation to expand my expertise in finance and investments. Passionate about sustainability, I strive to advance ESG integration within the industry, ensuring audits uphold the highest standards of accountability and transparency.
