I’m fortunate enough to love what I do. I’ve been implementing software for over 4 years working in a wide variety of environments and languages for small businesses, startups, and large corporations, and out on my own doing freelance work. I’m passionate about building rich, powerful apps using the latest technologies. I am an avid technical reader, I consistently strive to improve my techniques and toolset. I find it naturally rewarding to create apps that make life easier for others and solve real-world problems. I strive to be a top-tier developer and recognize this demands excellent communication skills, continuous learning, and natural curiosity. So what makes me unique? I care about the user's experience. I believe performance is a feature and responsive UI is worth the extra work. I'm not afraid to ask a dumb question or say I don't know. I write clean, dry, solid code that anyone can read. I know "best practices" but I am pragmatic about their application. I select architectures based on context rather than religion. I work hard because building software is just plain fun.
