About Felix Ware

In my career I've employed the belief that my professional responsibilities and aspirations are always second to my children, immediate family and my extended family at Capitol Scientific. I went to work for, bought and now continue to run a growing family business. Placing "principles before personalities" is what I was taught at a young age and what I still believe in today. It has served me, my family and the Capitol Scientific culture well. Through an extensive network of mentors and peers, I've learned that there are a few simple rules that can lead to your company's success. 1) Listen to those you seek to lead. 2) Learn how to be a good follower in order to be a good leader. 3) Remain teachable and adapt to change. personal and professional growth remain possible in direct proportion. 4) Lastly, take the time to be "present" when you are able and simply decide to do the next right thing, do the best job you can, and show people how much you care. If you can hit all four of those in some small way daily to promote your good will, the rest comes naturally. The majority of my career has been spent developing Capitol Scientific as the premier mid-market distributor of lab supplies and specialty chemicals to a multitude of industries. Laboratory, semiconductor and pharmaceutical grade chemicals are our expertise. Capitol's other core product lines include lab equipment, consumables, PPE/Safety and cleanroom products. Our company goals are simple. Take inventory of your assets daily. Recognize and appreciate that you've ability to create opportunities through innovation and willingness to solve problems for your customers before they become problems. Delegate, encourage and lead your teammates to develop the action steps required to achieve measurable goals with reported KPI's. Above all else, protect and nurture the culture you seek to lead as you move forward. I enjoy the opportunity to work with a team that "brings it" every single day to be the problem-solving dealer our customers have known and trusted for over 60-years now.
