I started my career as a machine operator in a bottle water factory, where I gained valuable technical expertise and a strong work ethic. From there, I transitioned into managing a bakery, where I honed my organizational and leadership skills, ensuring smooth operations and delivering high-quality products. As a business development manager, I had the opportunity to explore my entrepreneurial side and fostered strategic partnerships to drive growth and increase profitability. This role allowed me to leverage my networking abilities and business acumen to identify new opportunities and overcome obstacles. Currently, I serve as a Corporate Affairs and Membership Officer at the Nigeria Employers Consultative Association. In this position, I play a vital role in building relationships, advocating for members' interests, and fostering a supportive business environment. I am responsible for managing corporate affairs, ensuring effective communication, and enhancing the association's membership experience. One of my notable achievements was coordinating a project in the northern part of Nigeria focused on promoting decent work and occupational safety among micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). This project spanned across multiple states, including Kano, Katsina, Borno, Taraba, Yola, Gombe, and Kaduna. Through careful planning and collaboration, we successfully implemented initiatives to improve working conditions and enhance the overall well-being of employees. My varied background and experiences have shaped me into a versatile professional, adept at adapting to new challenges and driving innovative solutions. I thrive in dynamic environments and excel at leveraging my skills and expertise to deliver impactful results.
