Highly motivated research scientist with 12+ years’ experience in pharmacology, oncology and molecular biology. Specializing in preclinical drug development and in vivo pharmacology, with technical expertise in cell culture and PD/assay development. Currently working at Repare Therapeutics as Pharmacology lead on Lunresertib (PKMYT1 inhibitor) and an undisclosed small molecule inhibitor. I previously completed my role as Post Doctoral Researcher at the Herman B Wells Center for Pediatric Research, Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis, USA. I was Post Doctoral Researcher at St. Vincent’s Institute of Medical Research, Melbourne, Australia. I completed my undergraduate studies in 2005, honours in 2006 and PhD at Griffith University in 2011. My research has spanned a wide range of disciplines, ranging from the role of redox proteins in hypoxic cancer conditions, identifying protein targets & binding partners, and the role of various proteins in DNA damage repair systems. I routinely work in multi-disciplinary teams and have completed several collaborative projects. I am pursuing a career in research that will allow me to draw on my experience to date, particularly my expertise across a range of scientific techniques and practices such as: • Growing and maintaining attached and suspended cell lines • Single-cell and Bulk RNA sequencing, RT-PCR • DNA methods: PCR including Primer Design, Cloning, Site-directed mutagenesis, Radioactive assays such as DNA unwinding assays and EMSAs • Protein methods: Baculovirus generation, Large scale and Multi-protein complex protein purification, SDS-PAGE, Western blots, ELISAs, and Immunoprecipitation • Cell based assays: Immunocytochemistry, Flow cytometry and FACS analysis, Permanent/Transient Transfections, CRISPR, 3D tumor spheroid experiments • In Vivo methods: Mouse handling and maintenance, Subcutaneous tumor injection, PO/IP drug dosing, Tumor volume measurement via caliper
