About Ferdinand Hesemann

Ever since I can remember I have a strong fascination for the fundamentals and history of this floating ball in space called Earth and it never ceased: May it be collecting rocks at the age five or dragging everybody I know the next local natural history museum or starting a career as a geologist to ensure no telecommunications cable is at risk from a subsea volcano. Since I want to create an impact with my field of expertise I find working in geo-consulting the perfect combination of sharing my profound knowledge and at the same time contributing to transforming energy demand to renewables as well as adding to expanding worldwide availability internet via subsea cables. By now I consider myself to be an experienced geologist in geo-data processing, interpretation and mapping of surface and sub-bottom seabed features, geophysical reporting as well as desktop study writing for word-leading clients. I always strive to personal and professional growth and I am keen on new opportunities to be a better person and employee: I love working in an interdisciplinary working environment, with people from all over the globe, sharing the same aspirations, aims and goals and always try to be the person to keep the project on track, motivate my coworkers as well as stay focused and calm in stressful situations for a timely delivery of projects. Certainly, there will be new challenges ahead, may it be a new km subsea cable to be surveyed or a 200 km hike…I cannot wait to find out.
