About Ferenc Tarr

Team leader at the Music Education and Outreach Department in the House of Music Hungary. My main task is to plan and coordinate the team's work, define the strategic goals. I'm also the programme editor of the family and youth programs, where sometimes I contribute as a host and concert "educator". Besides that, I'm the head director of BonBon Matiné, which is an independent cultural program series, offering children program's. We try to make the young audience interested about music. I have been trained in history, philosophy, literature, grammatics, dramaturgy, pedagogy and psychology with a strong interest in theater directing and cultural management. In the last decade, I started working as a speaker at different events, for example concerts for children, educational programs, festivals, etc. I'm also writing stage plays. Some of them were adapted in music. One of my dramas was awarded by the Budapest Puppetry Theater. In 2021 my first children book was published with the title: Harmonia, the empire of music In 2022 this was followed by my second book, which was telling the life of Katalin Kariko to children.
