CEO of start-up company, Addible. Addible is scaling up a novel green solvent called TMO, and is also developing new solvent technology to significantly increase the recyclability of mixed waste streams. Addible is a partner in the Horizon Europe-funded project Respect, which aims to develop new technology for recycling lithium ion batteries. Assistant Professor in Sustainable Chemistry at Maynooth University. I have extensive knowledge in a wide range of areas of sustainability, circular economy and bioeconomy having completed an MSc and PhD in Green Chemistry and Sustainable Industrial Technology at the Green Chemistry Centre of Excellence at the University of York. I previously worked as a postdoctoral research associate working on the H2020 BBI-JU funded ReSolve project as well as the Innovate UK funded project, Furafact. I specialise in the design and development of green solvents, and their application in biomass fractionation, synthetic chemistry and materials production.
