A professional with 42 years of combined experience in the Offshore Oil and gas industry and Marine industry. • Experience in the FPSO/FSO sector consists of onboard Process Systems and Marine operations, Offshore Installation Manager, Onshore operations/management, Asset management, Project management during construction and installation phases and Mooring master duties for offtakes. • Experience in fabrication of steel structures for subsea and surface purposes, for the Oil and Gas industry. • Experienced in Offshore marine and installation activities. • Experienced in preparing vessels for sailing or towing after long periods of lay-up. • A Master Mariner with extensive experience on oil tankers. • Good knowledge of Classification society and other regulatory body’s requirements. • Good Risk management skills and is used to implementing safety systems. • Capable of decision making together with effective communication and reporting. • Experienced in Interface management and an integrated project-team approach. • A team player with the ability to organise, delegate and motivate team performance. • Proactive rather than reactive, to keep the job on Schedule and within budget. • Responds well to challenge and works well under pressure. • Understands contractual requirements. • Uses logical thought process to get to the root cause of a problem (as opposed to symptom- fighting) and thinks a problem through to the end, to obtain a proper solution. I am available on short notice. I am open to working anywhere in the world and frequent relocation. I am willing to travel as frequently as required.
