About Feria Sewell

I have many years of experience in non-profit & the human services field. I spend the majority of my high school and undergraduate program supporting students in low-income communities to further their education and help develop a plan after graduating from secondary school. My experience includes case management, mentoring, and tutoring positions, as well as work in sales, retail, and customer service. I am passionate about providing mental health support and resources to others with a lower advantage. My profile also reflects my involvement in various volunteer efforts focused on social services and education. I am currently pursuing a master's degree in Industrial & Organizational Psychology. Even though I have love for helping my community I also have goals to go into the Human Resource field. I am on a pursuit to learn as much as possible regarding business, finance, and HR. From working in my previous positions in sales, customer service, etc. I gain a strong desire to change the face of HR. I like implementing plans and creating innovative ideas to improve job satisfaction and lower turnover rates. Having the work experiences I have had allowed me to take what I found satisfying and dissatisfying and bring that to my future career. I am currently looking for a summer internship so I can broaden my knowledge of consulting, organizational development, compensation & benefits, training, recruiting, and more. I am very excited about what graduate school will lead me.
