About Fermin Avila

As the Vice President of IT & Data at Rocky Mountain Crisis Partners, I oversee the technology and data strategy for a non-profit organization that provides crisis intervention and prevention services to individuals and communities. I have two decades of experience in leading and managing programs that positively impact the lives of others, especially in times of disaster and emergency. My core competencies include program design and development, budget development and adherence, relationship management, and staff leadership. I have successfully led the expansion and scaling of innovative programs that support women and minority owned businesses, as well as the delivery of the 2-1-1 help center and contact center services to over requests annually. I have also initiated, drafted, and implemented partnerships with local, regional, and national stakeholders, and managed complex budgets with various funding sources. Additionally, I have extensive knowledge and skills in program evaluation and change management, as well as public speaking to diverse audiences. My mission is to enhance the quality and effectiveness of community-based programming that supports people in a positive manner.
