Brand positioning & copy specialist The rest is in third person./ Fern Diaz is a strategist and writer who advises founders and CEOs on innovative and impactful brand-building in a range of industries—from wellness, fashion, B2B SaaS, and food & bev to cannabis, education, AI, and music. She has launched and grown brands like Our Place, Stiller's, Nutrafol, Graza, Freaks of Nature, and CANN, and helped institutions like Google, Airbnb, Facebook, Spotify, Macy’s, Amazon and RISD tell their story. Throughout her career in branding and comms, she has been part of teams at Gretel, Koto, Order, Gander, Huge, Sylvain and Red Antler. Her work on NOTIFICA — an app for undocumented immigrants in danger of raids and deportations — was awarded two Cannes Lions (Silver and Bronze) and Clio Awards. Fern oversees a small team at her studio, Librarie, which specializes in positioning, voice, copy, campaigns/scripts, and naming. Fern frequently collaborates with independent designers to bring brand identities and campaigns to life. Member of creative collective Jetskis. For FUN, Fern produces critically-acclaimed micro-budget plays as part of softFocus (The Workshop, Off Broadway - both NYT Critics' Picks!); recently, she has been experimenting with directing (Gracie Abrams, First Rodeo) and her fiction podcast directing debut premiered at the Tribeca Festival.
