Experience English teacher for 24 years I taught English at Colégio Pueri Domus (Itaim) to Middle School and High School including preparation for vestibular I worked at Senac Idiomas teaching English to adults at all levels with focus on linguistic and cultural aspects in order to build a context to teach it through Communicative Approach I taught at Colégio Cidade Jardim/Play Pen where, after being an assistant teacher for grades 4 and 5 for one year, I took over a grade 3 group I have experience with Communicative Approach from teaching at SENAC Idiomas and Colégio Pueri Domus, with Constructivism and Social Constructivism from teaching also at Colégio Pueri Domus and Colégio Cidade Jardim/Play Pen I also have a three year experience and certified training with IB, most specifically with PYP and Exhibition at Beit Yaacov, where I also taught Science, History, Geography in English as well as English itself Nowadays I work as a Language Arts teacher for high school teaching American and British literature, and focusing on developing speaking, writing, reading and listening skills as well as preparation for the SAT at Escola do Futuro. I also have a position as the High School/College Counselor calculating GPA, making Transcripts, contacting Colleges and Universities from various countries, supporting students and families during the application process and decision making. Experience with different kinds of assessments, with creating and using both formative and summative assessments, self assessments, rubrics and feedback for improvements.
