I am a Computational Biologist with a Ph.D. in Population Biology from UC Davis and over 10 years of experience applying bioinformatics, genomics, and machine learning to advance discovery in biotechnology and life sciences. My background bridges experimental and computational research, with a proven track record of developing scalable data pipelines, conducting multi-omics data integration (genomics, transcriptomics, metabolomics), and enabling early-stage therapeutic discovery.Currently, I serve as a Senior Scientist in Computational Biology at Brightseed, where I lead bioinformatics and ML initiatives to identify bioactive compounds from natural sources. I contributed to the development of Brightseed’s AI-powered Forager platform, which was named one of TIME’s Best Inventions of 2024, and launched new data products that integrate proprietary metabolomics with predictive modeling to accelerate drug discovery pipelines.In 2025, I was honored to be named one of the 100 Women in AI by XFactor Ventures, recognizing my contributions to bioactivity prediction and AI-driven compound discovery.
