About Fernanda Lessa

I provide technical support and expertise for the successful implementation of the Regulatory Exchange Platform - secure (REPs), a project that enables the exchange of non-public information among National Regulatory Authorities (NRA) and other stakeholders in a secure environment; this platform improves access to medicines and other health technologies, which makes technical cooperation worldwide possible. Maintaining effective communication with stakeholders, resolving issues to ensure results are achieved as planned, performing monitoring and evaluation, assisting with strategic resource allocation and grant management, and developing technical and analytical documents are part of my daily workload. I also support other regulatory initiatives that promote Good Regulatory Practices, reliance, regulatory cooperation, convergence, transparency, networking and work-sharing across the Region of the Americas, such as the Pan American Network for Drug Regulatory Harmonization (PANDRH), the NRA of Regional Reference, the Caribbean Regulatory System (CRS), among others.
