About Fernando Andrade

Fernando Andrade (production coordinator, writer and journalist)Fernando Andrade holds a degree in journalism and lives in New York since2008. He studied various subjects related to communication at New York University, and have graduated in the digital journalism course offered by NBC at the New York Film Academy, where he deepened his knowledge of shooting, editing, audio,lighting, direction and hosting.He worked as a journalist and editor in the newspaper Folha in Brasil-NY and also in Rio de Janeiro, his hometown, had articles published by Jornal do Commercio.He started working in the filming area as a production assistantof a Brazilian based TV show called Lugar Incomum that was aired by the Multishow network. Since then, he developed projects for companies and organizations such as Grupo ABC, Canal Futura, Afro Reggae, Spray Filmes, GNT, Turner Broadcasting System, UNICEF and Grendene.Fernando is working for the last three and a half years in the Brazilian based TV show Manhattan Connection, which is aired by the Globo News network. He started as a cameraman and now coordinates the production of segments and vignettes aired in the show. Also, Fernando Andrade founded his own production company, Cineleiro Creatives, in a partnership with the creative director Tre Shallowhorn. Besides that, he produces materials for the website pedroandradetv.com and is a contributing with the TV host Pedro Andrade, in the authorship of a New York guide, that is going to be release on the first semester of 2013.
