Tenho formação na área de Letras Inglês pela FFLCH - USP e Mestrado em Teoria e Crítica Literária pela PUC-SP; atuo como professor há mais de 20 anos. Durante minha graduação em Letras, no departamento de letras modernas, tive o privilégio de investigar aspectos diversos sobre literatura inglesa e norte-americana, assim como brasileira e portuguesa. O programa de Estudos Pós-Graduados em Literatura e Crítica Literária da PUC-SP me ajudou a analisar o fenômeno literário tanto do ponto de vista teórico, quanto crítico no âmbito da pesquisa e do ensino. Minha dissertação se debruçou sobre a história e a análise da crítica literário no Brasil, especialmente nos idos dos anos de 1940. Na Cultura Inglesa, atuo como professor de crianças, adolescentes e adultos levando em consideração uma variedade de níveis linguísticos, de A1 a C2, como descritos pelo Common European Framework of Reference. Aqui, também tenho a oportunidade de desenvolver várias competências em diversas funções envolvendo treinamento e acompanhamento de professores, monitoramento de práticas de ensino, além de experiência em IELTS e Cambridge English exams (Main Suite e YLS). I hold a degree in English Literature from FFLCH - USP and a Master's in Literary Theory and Criticism from PUC-SP; I have been teaching for over 20 years. During my Language and Literature graduation course, in the Department of Modern Literature, I had the privilege of investigating different aspects of English and North American, as well as Brazilian and Portuguese literatures. The Postgraduate Studies program in Literature and Literary Criticism at PUC-SP helped me to analyze the literary phenomenon both from a theoretical and critical point of view in the scope of research and teaching. My dissertation focused on the history and analysis of literary criticism in Brazil, especially in the 1940s. At Cultura Inglesa, I work as a teacher of children, teenagers and adults taking into account a variety of language levels, from A1 to C2, as described by the Common European Framework of Reference. Here, I also have the opportunity to develop multiple competences in various roles involving teacher training and mentoring, monitoring of teaching practices, as well as experience in IELTS and Cambridge English exams (Main Suite and YLS).
