About Fernando Cherchi

I enjoy and embrace diversity. I lived in three different countries and worked with distributed teams for the last 15 years. I am a very technical software manager, I understand deeply the whole software development life cycle. I was involved in several roles in different kinds of companies and products. I am a Team Leader and a Team Player. Innovator: A driver for me is innovation. I always tend to search for improvement points and propose an action plan to implement them. Innovation is one of the main motivators for teams and individuals and the best retention strategy for the most talented engineers. I managed to bring innovation by implementing improvements in the Software Architecture as well as Business Model Improvements. Team player: Teams are the best way to get to your goals. Looking back, the most motivating experiences in my career were always as part of a (brilliant) team. Mentor: I enjoy and want to facilitate other people’s growth. At this point in time, the best way to grow further is through other people’s growing path and collective goals.
