About Fernando D.

Brazilian and Italian citizenship. I’ve worked with IT for more than 20 years, firstly working as a technician helping users, maintaining hardware, software and networks, alongside helping through phone support. I’ve learned computer programming in the late 90’s with Cobol, working with several languages, such as Clipper, Delphi, Visual Basic, Python and Dart. Doing minor courses and self-teaching several frameworks and applications. But I decided to focus on Java, Kotlin and Typescript, developing microservices using Spring Cloud and Angular front ends. For 5 year I’ve worked as a College professor teaching mostly Java, Swing and JEE. This work enhanced my communications skills beyond average, but I gave up in teaching because developing is my passion. My master’s degree in Administration and my MBA in Enterprise Management allowed me to enhance my vision about markets and enterprises for applying better solutions in software development. Throughout the years I’ve had the opportunity act as a Help Desk Support, Infrastructure Manager (Cloud and on Premise), Developer, Project Manager, Business Analyst, Development Team Leader and Software architect. I’ve studied English while a teenager for 5 years, and when I was 19, I lived 6 months in London, UK for enhancing my English skills while having a part time job as a barman. In general, I’m a technology enthusiast and curious.
