Fernando Landeros is a renowned expert in delay and quantum damages for construction disputes. As Head Partner at WAGEMANN Consulting—international firm specialising in technical and contractual services for construction and infrastructure projects based in Chile and Spain— Fernando provides expert guidance and advice on projects, dispute boards, arbitrations and trials, particularly across Latin America. With over 18 years of experience in infrastructure projects, contract administration and claims analysis in engineering and construction, Fernando Landeros (Architect) has participated in the resolution of numerous disputes, offering his technical expertise with a strong focus on delay analysis and quantum damages. He has acted as an expert witness in over 90 arbitration and trial cases throughout Latin America, preparing reports requested by parties or courts. His experience spans ordinary trials and domestic arbitrations, as well as CAM Santiago (Chile), ICC and UNCITRAL arbitrations in Chile, Paraguay, Peru, Colombia, El Salvador, Nicaragua and Costa Rica, among others. Fernando has also contributed his expertise in disputes between owners and contractors, managing claims, providing technical consultancy, and offering expert opinions in sectors such as mining, industry, energy, public-private partnerships, oil, gas and transportation. His work has involved the administration of disputes valued at over $3 billion per year. In terms of dispute resolution, Fernando has declared to technical panels and Dispute Boards on rulings related to delays in projects execution and the quantification of damages. He has notably stated before the Technical Panel of Concessions of the Chilean Ministry of Public Works (MOP) and several FIDIC contract Dispute Boards. In addition, he has been appointed as Dispute Board member to provide recommendations and opinions in cases in Latin America.
