About Fernando Medrano

Over the years, I’ve worked across several sectors of the automotive industry — from managing paint prep and quality control in collision centers to building client relationships in dealership environments. Currently, I’m coordinating daily operations at an automotive repair shop while also undertaking a personal manual swap and performance build on my 1990 BMW E30 325iC. This mix of professional and personal projects has allowed me to master both technical execution and shop logistics. Here are a few ways I can contribute to your team- Hands-On Experience: Paint certified and experienced in prepping, masking, and painting with precision, as well as handling custom fabrication, soldering, and 3D design using Fusion 360- Efficiency-Focused: I’ve led efforts that saved departments over monthly by streamlining parts inventory and reducing waste- Team-Oriented & Client-Focused: Whether working with technicians or directly with clients, I thrive on collaboration and communication — in both English and Spanish — and have managed teams of up to seven employees- Driven by Passion: My ultimate goal is to own a custom shop. Right now, I want to learn from and contribute to one of the best.
