About Fernando Morales

Growing up with two brothers close to your age can bring a lot of competition (healthy competition, of course) to the household. That competition brought out my strive for success. Being the younger brother growing up, it could be challenging competing against two older brothers, whether it be sports, grades, etc. Many times, I just wanted to use the excuse of them being older, but I could not accept that. I made those moments into challenges, and through challenges came growth. With this mindset, I have been able to apply it to my career path and academic endeavors. I am currently working a full-time position at PennyMac Loan Services, while still doing school part-time. I look at this as a challenge that I know for a fact I will overcome, since I have been doing this straight after high school, not taking a break on either. I attained my Associate of Arts at Tarrant County College. I am currently enrolled at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. I have strong analytical skills, experience with spreadsheets, and the initiative to learn new things. I am capable of learning things quickly and adapting to sudden changes that might occur. I like to look for ways things and processes can be improved to become more efficient. My goal is to become a great enough asset in a company so not only I can teach what I am doing but cast vision for whatever company I work for. I am looking for a career that will further challenge me to grow, whether it be accounting, analytics, leadership, or just simply grow in the company. I do not want to stay stagnant, because I know no matter how much I know or how good I get at something, there will always be room for improvement.
