I am a curious person and passionate about programming and automation, also, motivated by teamwork, with experience leading and coordinating projects and teams with high impact for high-valued companies. Now, I am working for Epam Systems as Lead System Engineer IV with a computer science degree, master`s in innovation, and 15 years of experience in software development and management roles. It specializes in AWS infrastructure and DevOps consulting. With a proven track record at big companies from heterogeneous industries such as airlines, retail, e-commerce, banking, stock exchanges, healthcare, or education excels in orchestrating complex projects and fostering agile, DevOps, and SecDevOps cultures. The expertise spans software development, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, Terraform, and a wide array of technologies, enhancing team collaboration, technological and cultural transformation, and empowering teams through continuous learning and innovation frameworks. Fernando's career highlights include significant contributions to large-scale integration projects and community development in tech engineers. I worked for Cencosud, as Technical Lead first and Lead Coach after, working for the Platform Engineering area, leading the integration of the Software Life Cycle Management System with DevOps, Agile, Compliance, Security, PMO, and UX design. Also, I was a Jira Master in e-commerce above Jumbo, Easy, and Paris. Working for Coredevx, I was the Leader of IT projects and QA processes, responsible for the projects in all significant clients, like Latam Airlines or Alemana Clinic, leading the implementation of the DevOps culture, CI/CD, and JIRA automation. My experience includes System Engineering, Automation, and DevOps focused on cultural and technological change in companies. That considers designing and implementing a model of internal training for developers and engineers. As I said, I'm a very curious person, who always tries to learn something new enjoying the journey of life, from high technology to social sciences, passing by environment care, education, neuroscience, sports, and even art and carpentry, where the experience of do and learn could be memorable.
