About Fernando Nimer

Fernando is a senior executive in IT, BI/analytics and business consulting with a track record of large projects in USA, EMEA and Latin America. He has been consistently working in the fields of applications, enterprise architecture, decision management, business intelligence, data warehouse, business process improvement, customer relationship management (CRM) and information technology, applying high-level skills in program/project management, solution development, and business consulting. Fernando helps translate business opportunities into packaged offerings, from initial design and prototype through production and deployment, by embedding advisory services and analytical expertise in digital transformation and in new product frameworks. Fernando is also a certified SCRUM Master by the SCRUM.ORG (PSM-I) and the International SCRUM Institute (SMAC) and certified SCRUM Product Owner by the International SCRUM Institute (SPOAC) and alumni of the Ronald Coase Institute in institutional economics. Fernando is a visiting MBA professor at FGV Sao Paulo in Business Analytics and Big Data. He is graduated in both Computer Technology (ITA, 1988) and Business Law (USP, 2001), with a Ph.D. in Law and Economics (Venture Capital, 2014) and a Master Degree in Law and Economics (Insolvency and Business Reorganization, 2009). He is also a professor at FGV for the IT and Business Administration College (BA program) and Big Data/Analytics (MBA program). Alumni of the Ronald Coase Institute of Institutional Economics. Fernando is a dual citizen: Portuguese and Brazilian.
