About Fernando Pinto

I graduated in Civil Engineering in September 2009 and I am concluding a Master in Economics and Business Administration. At the moment, I’m working in contracting, procurement, management and management control, after several years in project management in construction of new hydropower plants and public water distribution grids. I have been working at EDP since 2011, deeply involved in the execution of new investments in renewable energy - hydroelectric projects. Until 2016, I worked in project management of the construction of Ribeiradio-Ermida and Foz Tua power plants, with responsibilities of: site supervision; planning and cost control; contracts supervision and interfaces management; supervision of the quality, safety and environmental contractual and legal compliance stakeholder’s relationship. Between 2009 and 2010, I worked in CSM as site manager in the construction and renew water supply grids, with responsibilities of: managing of resources (manpower; equipments; materials); planning; cost control; services and materials procurement; quality, security and environmental compliance; stakeholder’s relationship.
