About Fernando Rodriguez

According to a personality test (Belbin Team Inventory) conducted at an executive education program, I am a Plant."Plants are creative, unorthodox and generators of ideas. If an innovative solution to a problem is needed, a Plant is a good person to ask." This is a personality trait that comes from my interest on a wide variety of fields. Martial Arts, Finance, Business Modeling, abstract and portrait painting, literature, cooking, chess; all of them have their particular pull when applying myself to solve a business problem. Still, my engineering education gets to dominate all the other ways of working. My passion for building businesses brought me to Innovattel where the engineering approach is applied to building the last mile infrastructure for the wireless growth in the Latin American region. Budget allocations, Network Transformations, Optimization of services, plain operating issues: You need to understand your telecommunications network, its cost, and its possibilities before you can claim control of any other Finance issue. This is the core competency I am bringing to Innovattel in our quest to become a leading independent tower company in the Emerging Markets.
