About Fernando Sattaur

My 20+ years of Physical Security experience sits atop a foundation built while a member of Global security organizations. Notably, my career began at MasterCard as a contract uniformed security officer before becoming a full time employee and leading MasterCard's Mail security program post 9/11. I also administered the team's vehicle fleet operation and physical lock and key programs. My knack for leading people effectively, exposed me to formal leadership training and resulted in early leadership roles. Well prepared to lead at larger scale, I entered operations management joining the new team for the Royal Bank of Scotland's M1.2 square foot LEED certified facility where I collaborated with cross functional teams to build a world class security program for the Stamford, CT location. After an eight year stint I entered regional security operations management in the technology space with the added complexity of managing union personnel, and assets outside the US. As an FTE at Twitter I was successful building a team supporting security operations for office and Data Center locations in the US and Canada. I expanded my operational experience to new space when I joined Netflix where I served as the strategic leader for security operations across the East coast, US & Canada, adding theaters, gaming locations and live experiences. My roles at contract security providers gives me valuable insights that make me a valuable asset to any program leveraging security service providers, as I understand both the provider and client businesses thus delivering results through strong partnerships.
