About Fernando Tan

An experienced Senior Associate at PwC Indonesia specializing in the audits of financial services companies including listed banks, multifinance, securities companies, among others. I have successful experiences working in large teams for an extended period as well as taking the responsibility to lead teams from start to finish, liaising with junior team members, managers, partners, and managing relationships with clients to ensure high quality and timely results. I am also passionate in driving efficiency initiatives within the firm by utilizing technology to automate tasks and significantly reduce resource requirements. As part of the initiative, I also train colleagues throughout the firm to increase automation capabilities and maximizing the use of technology for further efficiency. One of the success stories was achieving a 90%++ efficiency in the audit of a state-owned electricity company, reducing manual workload from more than 1 month to a few hours. Currently, I am also part of the Financial Risk Management team in PwC's Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory Services (CMAAS)- working with a wide array of clients to solve problems primarily on credit risk management and modelling. Outside of work, I enjoy doing sports such as running and badminton.
