About Fernando Teixeira

With over 25 years of experience in the logistics and supply chain industry, I am a seasoned airfreight product manager and IT leader at DHL Global Forwarding, one of the world's leading providers of international air, ocean, and road freight services. My mission is to deliver quality, customer-centric, and results-oriented solutions that optimize the airfreight operations, compliance, and design across the global network. As the VP Airfreight IT, Solutions Design, Operations and Compliance Support, I manage a team of professionals and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the alignment and integration of the airfreight IT systems and processes with the business objectives and requirements. I also leverage my expertise in negotiation, import, and export to support the commercial and operational teams in securing and executing profitable and compliant airfreight contracts and shipments. Additionally, I have successfully led the global TMS project, which involved the implementation of a new transport management system for the airfreight division, enhancing the efficiency, visibility, and scalability of the airfreight operations.
