About Fernando Vasconcelos

I am a Fire Alarm Inspector and Technician whose single goal is to make the community a safer place, by eliminating the preventable risks and creating fast and reliable response whenever the prevention fails. I expect to build and develop a solid network in the Canadian Fire Industry. As a former Brazilian Military Senior Fire Officer, I have developed strong consolidation, excellent organizational and customer service skills. This experience required meticulous verbal and written communication skills, and an ability to convey complex, legal ideas clearly. I received praise for the ethical and professional way I communicated to the general population and the internal personnel. Detailed observation and routine improvement were some of the aspects in me that my commanders used to compliment. Also, I am a self-motivated, fast learner experienced in working with partners from different cultures and languages. I am confident that my experience in the fire prevention services, previous work installing fire alarm panels, my strong work ethic, attention to detail and professionalism acquired in the Military Fire Department, along with my strong customer service, continuous problem-solving skills, and my constant pursuit for more knowledge, define my professional qualities.
