Feroz Shaikh is the founder and CEO of iCastX Technologies, a leading cloud-based media services firm based in Mumbai. He spearheads the company's focus on the future of media technologies, and the role business leadership can play in creating long-term economic value for the global media fraternity. Feroz ventured into the media technology business in 2006 when the industry was infested with legacy broadcast systems that wouldn't talk to each other and television workflows clogged the content pipe due to platform inefficiencies. After carefully studying the industry for over ten years, he found a roadmap for endless opportunities and infinite possibilities in the media technology space. The answer was an IP-based solution that broadens distribution, generates new revenue streams and eliminates the supply chain cost. Broadcasters could now efficiently manage media assets and content delivery anytime, anywhere and on any platform in any format. The net result: iCastX Technologies. The company’s SaaS, PaaS and IaaS solutions virtualize the traditional content supply chain; liberates broadcasters and media companies from limitations of geography and excesses of running dedicated facilities, and in turn fosters innovation and creative strategy in these enterprises. Besides hands-on management expertise, Feroz is a people's person who is also known for the participative leadership that he brings on the board of iCastX Technologies. He has attracted some of the best minds available in the media technology business and given them a full autonomy in running their verticals towards the larger corporate goal of creating a seamless global network for media and entertainment companies worldwide. ICastX Technologies' customers are global media leaders such as Zee, Star, Sony, among many others. Feroz is also a frequent spokesperson at industry events in India and abroad. Before founding iCastX, he was spear heading technology of Prime Focus.
