About Ferrell Carter

Ten years spent in the hospitality industry has given me the ability to provide exceptional guest experiences using food as a medium. Whether it be culinary arts, wine service, or event planning, I have worked nearly every position front and back of house, which has given me a big picture perspective on hospitality and what it means to be welcoming. I'm committed to not just providing top-tier service, but creating a larger community and driving impact by nurturing relationships and anticipating needs. Prior to my stint in restaurants, I worked as a community manager for a fast-growing startup, Zeel. Building community and growing that market gave me valuable skills in B2B sales and market growth. Not to mention, it introduced me to a true love: New Orleans. Traveling across the Southeast, we launched Zeel in 6 new territories during my 24 months on the team. I'm a proud generalist, a creative problem-solver, and an artist at heart. I believe that sustainable solutions for ourselves must be sustainable for our planet, and that waste reduction plays a huge role in 'the work'. In and out of restaurants, my aim is to create an impact through human connection and collaboration.
