Growing up in a family of contractors, I was immersed in the world of construction from a young age. With a lineage of skilled builders in my village, my journey to becoming a civil engineer was inevitable. During my first year of college, in the summer of 2015, I embarked on my professional journey at BIC (Baaklin Industrial City). Here, I immersed myself in diverse roles, from design and daily site visits to contractor selection. In 2017, I further honed my skills during a training stint at Khatib and Alami, where I successfully supervised over 50 laborers as a Site Engineer. Overseeing projects at esteemed sites like AUBMC and ABC Verdun was a particularly rewarding experience. Subsequently, in 2018, I transitioned to an engineering office where I gained essential experience in handling the paperwork necessary for buildings to meet legal requirements, including urbanism, syndicate, and ministry approvals. In 2019, as a senior, I developed an innovative Excel program that streamlined the beam design process, enabling the creation of shear, moment, bending, and rotation diagrams with a single click, significantly enhancing efficiency. In 2020, I delved into project management, collaborating with engineers, negotiating with contractors, supervising laborers, resource planning, and meticulously scheduling construction operations to meet project deadlines. Most recently, I proudly joined the UTC family, a leading engineering company, where I continue to thrive and contribute to exciting large-scale projects in the world of civil engineering.
