About Fika Efendi

I am Fika Efendi, a Biology graduate with extensive experience in laboratory work, wildlife conservation, teaching, and strong teamwork skills. During my university years, I was actively involved in various organizations at the department, faculty, and university levels. I was an assistant in multiple laboratories, including Animal Physiology, Animal Ecology, Vertebrate Taxonomy, and Vertebrate Morphology. These roles enhanced my expertise in scientific research and fieldwork. I also gained hands-on experience in wildlife conservation while in Kalimantan, where I contributed to preserving and studying endangered species in their natural habitats. Additionally, during my early career in Jakarta, I explored the field of human resources as an HR assistant. My teaching journey began as a homeschooling tutor for middle school students, focusing on Science, Social Studies, and Mathematics. Currently, I am a Montessori teacher for upper elementary levels (grades 4, 5, and 6) at Green Montessori School. I specialize in delivering engaging lessons in Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and occasionally Language Arts. To further enhance my teaching capabilities, I have completed training in handling children with dyslexia and ADHD, as well as First Aid training (P3K), to ensure the safety and well-being of students in the school environment. I am passionate about fostering a love for learning, empowering students, and contributing to education through innovative and inclusive approaches.
