About Filip Moerman

I like to be on the cross-road of many competencies I've spent most of my career working on embedded systems for wireless communication. I've gone back and forth between HW and SW, algorithms and architecture, theory and hands-on. I've explored many corners of the digital world. Lately, I enjoyed discovering the analog world as well. I like to build complex systems from the ground up and make them work I've always been responsible for the specification of complex systems and have been equally happy to contribute to their implementation and validation. I am only satisfied if I succeed in making a complex system look like it is simple. I like to drive, especially on a bumpy road I often ended up driving the projects that I was assigned to. As such, I have been supervising the work of many different engineers (SW designers, HW designers, sales and support engineers). I have been engaged and respected as a technical expert during multiple customer meetings. I like to learn and, even more, to teach I've demonstrated over and over again that I am able to quickly acquire new knowledge and eager to transfer it to my colleagues. As a result, I have been consistently entrusted with challenging tasks providing opportunities to do new stuff.
